1) Golf
Bled Golf Resort – located just 4km, 5 minutes from Bled.
The Kings Golf Course, Bled – one of the oldest golf courses in this part of Europe was built in 1937 and re-designed in 1972 by renowned golf course architect Donald Harradine. It is an 18-hole course lying in the embrace of Slovenia’s highest mountains with wonderful views of the Julian Alps. The 9 hole Lake course opened in 1993 with a more contemporary design and varied relief and three water hazards.

2) Vintgar Gorge
On the outskirts of Bled. Beautiful walk with stunning scenery approx 2 hours and mostly flat, with a coffee shop at the start and finishing points.

3) Cycling Around Bled and The Julian Alps
Maps are available from the tourist information centre. Cycling routes from Kranjska Gora – Bled takes approx 4 hours. Bled to Bohinj – either 1.5 hours or 3 hours.
4) Cross Country Skiing
Along the tracks in the surrounding countryside.
5) Steam Train
On several dates between April and November the steam train runs between Jesenice and Nova Gorica stopping at Bled, Bohinsjska Bistrica, Most Na Soci and Kanal. It picks up from Bled station in the morning and returns early evening. Bookings can be made at Alpetour, Kompas, M Tours or the TIC Bled.
6) Flying
Panoramic flights over Bled are available from the Alpine Flying Centre in Lesce.

7) Lake Bohinj
A resort in the Triglav National Park with the largest lake in Slovenia and 2 medieval churches. The lake is much larger and has a more natural habitat than its neighbour lake Bled.

8) Triglav National Park
Bled is situated on the edge of Triglav National Park which was founded in 1906 and now with 83,807 ha covers practically the entire Julian Alps within Slovene territory. Its highest peak is Mt. Triglav (2,864 m). Bled is an ideal point from which to visit the park’s natural beauties as many accessible and highly interesting places lie virtually in its immediate vicinity; Vintgar Gorge, Pokljuka Plateau, Pokljuka Gorge, Pod Babjim zobom cave and Lake Bohinj.

8) Skiing
There are several different ski fields within a 20 minute drive of Bled including Kranjska-Gora, Vogel Ski Centre & Kobla – Bohink, Pokljuka Plateau, Kravec and Velika Planina. Flexible skiing is available e.g. Day pass, morning pass, 2, 3 or 4 hours, night skiing and 2-10 day passes. Ski, snowboard and children.
